What Is Project Hope?
Project Hope is an initiative started by Dr. Jaya Ravindran, a 47-year-old retired arthritis doctor.
Jaya was diagnosed with acute T cell lymphoblastic lymphoma/leukaemia in October 2014 and after treatment including chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, he has suffered two relapses. It was after, this last relapse that Project Hope was born.
An initiative was started to raise funds for those fighting a similar battle by donating some of the proceeds of Jaya’s book of poems to a blood cancer research charity – Bloodwise and towards bone marrow transplant charity – the Anthony Nolan trust, and some towards his daughter’s future.
Please show your support for Project Hope, which is raising funds for the Anthony Nolan Trust and Bloodwise, and for my daughter. The suggested minimum donation is GBP30 but feel free to donate what you can. Kindly donate via the form below which, having captured your contact details, will redirect you to the JustGiving website, which we are using as an independent third party to collect money. You will receive a beautifully bound and printed hardback copy of Jaya’s poems and reflections supported by the captivating artwork of Darren Emilianos. The book is a gift and token of our appreciation.
Thank you for your support. Project Hope has given me a renewed purpose at this difficult time and your support is invaluable.
Kind regards, Jaya.
